Upazila fisheries Office, Kalai, Joypurhat is located at upazila complex,kalai which is just beside the Joypurhat- Bogura Highway.The distance from Joypurhat district  to Kalai Upazial Parished is almost 16 k.m & it  takes almost 20 minutes to go from joypurhat to Kalai upazila by bus. On the other hand, the distance from Bogura district  to Kalai Upazial Parished is almost 37 k.m & it takes almost 1.15 hour to go from Charmatha bus stand, Bogura  to Kalai upazila by bus.
