Vision: To meet animal nutrition needs, alleviate poverty and increase export earnings from fish and fish products.

Mission: By increasing the sustainable production of fish and shrimp and other aquatic resources through sound management, meeting the nutritional needs of the country and increasing the export income and achieving the desired development of the poor fishermen and fish farmers as well as the socio-economic sector of Bangladesh.
